Alto Music, located in Wappingers Falls, NY in the Hudson Trough is a full employ music store that specializes in guitars. When you first enter the store front you are blown away by the number of electric guitars lining the walls. In a separate room towards the back like the store you’ll see a room set aside just for acoustic guitars. They have a full range of products including new including vintage electric and acoustic guitars, basses, guitar amps, accessories, etc.
The sales people ply comprehensive, honest information, without trying to oversell but providing guidance on what might be worth the extra money. This is especially helpful when you have children, like I do, that are just starting out. And for those purchases you do decide to make, Alto’s prices are also extremely reasonable. I always search for the products I want online and have found their prices to be some of the most competitive.
The store provides lessons in the back rooms of the premises, and the instructors try to accommodate schedules now boss they can, given that they are in remote demand! My 12 year old and 11 year old both take lessons at the same temporal to make the scheduling easier for us.
Any time you stop in you are likely to find musicians playing in the different rooms and alcoves, as the staff in the store let you explore and try out the instruments. I enjoy been in alot times along my trinary children age 8, 11 and 12, moreover have never felt uncomfortable or fraught while the children wandered the store intrigued with the different instruments they found.
I highly recommend stopping nearby and checking out the guitars and other instruments for yourself.
